Dans une France kafkaïenne, un demandeur d’emploi se met à suivre une mystérieuse ligne téléphonique pour retrouver sa conseillère disparue.

Dans une satire sociale rappelant Brazil de Terry Gilliam, YU Miao élabore une esthétique anachronique pour mieux jouer sur les travers de notre société moderne et de son culte de l’entrepreneuriat à tout prix.

就业中心，一名求职者无望地等待着就业顾问的出现。期间他误入一个神秘宴会，宴会中的人在庆祝一种新的创业精神：失业者若想在社会中找到自己的位置就必须发明一份工作。

本片表现了当下社会中工作对人的压制，以黑色喜剧的形式提出批评，同时在风格上向默片致敬。于淼希望用夸张的视听表达来做冷静的观察，产生一种荒谬的感觉，让短片既有趣又令人不安，既简单又多义。
